Fade Out™ follows strict industry and government guidelines to ensure that every ingredient in each of our formulas has been thoroughly safety tested and approved for use. In addition, our product development teams continuously monitor the scientific literature, as well as reports from our customers and retailers, to ensure that our products are at the leading edge of safety as well as performance.

What is our stance on animal testing?

Fade Out™ does not test on animals. We believe animal testing is not required to prove the safety and effectiveness of our products.

Is Fade Out™ suitable for vegans?

Fade Out™ is a vegan friendly brand which does not use any animal derivatives or bi-products in our formulations.

Product Information

Will Fade Out™ prevent pigmentation from returning?

Exposure to UVA and UVB rays can exacerbate (and even cause) pigmentation. Whatever your skin tone or type, daily application of SPF will help protect against sun damage and premature ageing. Fade Out™ treatment day creams contain a broad spectrum SPF but they should not be used as a primary sunscreen.

How long can I use Fade Out™ for?

Fade Out™ products are safe to use as part of your everyday skincare routine and can be used for as long as required. Our treatment day and night moisturisers are formulated with active ingredients that deliver visible results whilst hydrating and soothing the skin barrier. If you’re using Fade Out™ to help resolve issues like Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, sun spots or Melasma, we recommended trialling us daily for a minimum of 4 weeks for optimal results.

Is it normal for my skin to tingle when applying Fade Out™ creams?

You may experience some mild tingling when you start using some Fade Out™ products. Our treatment creams for day and night contain active ingredients such Lactic Acid which is a gentle AHA that works to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells to help reveal a brighter skin complexion. As your skin becomes accustomed to the new products, the effects will lessen over time.

Mild tingling is normal to experience when using Fade Out™ and is a sign that the product is working. However, if the tingling persists or worsens, or a reaction occurs, rinse well with water, seek medical advice and do not continue use.

Can Fade Out™ products be used on other parts of the body?

Fade Out creams can be used on other areas of skin. Pigmentation can often appear on the hands, décolletage, neck and shoulders.

When using any new product, we recommend first carrying out a patch test by applying Fade Out to a small area of skin behind the ears and waiting 48hrs. If any reaction occurs, rinse well, seek medical advice and do not continue use. Fade Out is for external use only and not recommended for use on intimate areas.

Is Fade Out™ a bleaching product?

No. We vehemently oppose skin bleaching and champion skin tone inclusivity across our business. Our expertise lies in treating unwanted pigmentation – a natural part of ageing that is sometimes unfairly exacerbated by lifestyle choices, hormones, sun exposure and medication. Our brightening formula is tested for efficacy on all 6 shades of the Fitzpatrick Scale, the medical numerical classification scheme for human skin colour.

Orders & Deliveries

Has my order been shipped?

You will receive a shipment email confirmation when your order has been dispatched.

How much does delivery cost?

UK Standard Delivery is £4.50 or free on orders over £20. We currently only ship within the UK. For International customers, please contact us for details of your nearest stockist.

All our UK orders are sent out via Whistl. Please allow up to 2-3 working days from the time the goods leave our warehouse.

Tracking information will be made available to you directly from the courier so that you can follow the progress of your delivery. This option does not guarantee delivery on a specific date. Goods will be left in a safe location if you are not available to receive the delivery.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Your order will reach you as per the Estimated Delivery Times provided, aside from in times of severe weather conditions or exceptional circumstances.

Delivery charges are per order. An order can be delivered to one address only. If you require to send orders to multiple addresses you will need to place a separate order for each address.

Orders are processed and shipped on working days only (Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays).

Can I cancel my order?

If you wish to customise or cancel your order, please get in touch and we will be happy to help. If your order is still pending, we will be able to help before it ships.

Returns & Refunds

How do I return or exchange a product?

We hope that you will be happy with every FADE OUT™ product but in the event you have a return request please contact us, stating your order number and the reason for your request.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, contact your credit/debit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

You can also try contacting your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Subscription FAQs

What are the benefits of subscription?

Subscribe, save and stay stocked!

There's no need to spend time placing repeat orders or entering your payment details as we do the admin for you! Plus, we'll also give you 10% off every subscription order to make sure you always get the best value for money.

Is there a minimum term I need to sign up for?

No. Our subscriptions are completely in your control. You can pause, skip or cancel at any time.

How do I pay for my subscription?

You provide your payment details when placing your first order and we will automatically deduct from your nominated payment method when sending your subscription orders.

How do I pause, skip or cancel my subscription?

You can control your subscription from your customer account settings once logged in.

What if I forget to cancel?

We'll send you a reminder email a few days before every subscription renews, giving you the chance to cancel or change your subscription.

Can I choose how often I receive my subscription products?

Yes. We offer the choice of 4 weeks, 8 weeks or 12 weeks for our subscription frequency. Please choose the one that suits you best. If you need to change your delivery frequency at any point, just cancel your existing subscription and place a new one with the desired frequency.

Can I have multiple products in my subscription?

Yes. As long as you subscribe to multiple products in the same initial order, these will all be included in your subscription. If you have an existing subscription and would like to add more products, please cancel the existing subscription and place a new subscription order for the products you would like.

Do I get a discount on my subscription?

Yes! We offer 10% on every subscription order. That includes your first order and all subsequent orders.

Can I use promotional discount codes on subscription orders?

No. Like most websites, we only allow one discount per order therefore please choose to use your promotional code on a non subscription order.
